GLASGOW A PLANT TIGERS
BRITISH PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 2011.
The Tigers are Champions again, adding a third title to the famous KO Cup and League Title doubles in 1993 and 1994. It may have been a while coming, but the 2011 title was secured with some style, and from very early on, it appeared to be the Glasgow A Plant Tigers' title to lose, such was their dominance at the newly rebuilt Ashfield race strip and their combativeness away from home.
Despite having to cope with the loss of some key riders through injury, Glasgow swept all others aside, and will have taken some enjoyment in relieving their Scottish rivals Edinburgh Scotwaste Monarchs of their 2010 Championship crown.
